Nine Billboard Charting CDs to be Re-Released on July 10, 2007

Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Dexterity Sounds recording label has just announced a major reissue of its entire CD catalogue via its new distribution agreement with Rhino Entertainment. On July 10, 2007 the label will reissue 9 titles that were previously distributed via EMI Gospel/Chordant. R&B veteran Shirley Murdock will see her 2002 Top Ten gospel CD debut, Home, repackaged. Gospel belter Beverly Crawford’s two Dexterity collections Live – Family & Friends (2003) and Beverly (2001) will also be dusted off and put back into print.

Dexterity has also created some acclaimed all-star compilations that will be hitting shelves again as well. Among them are God’s Leading Ladies (2002) featuring Patti Labelle and Ann Nesby; He-Motions (2004) featuring Donnie McClurkin and Micah Stampley; and Follow the Star (2003), a stunning holiday collection boasting names such as Mavis Staples & the Blind Boys of Alabama, Smokie Norful and Aaron Neville.

Dexterity will also re-release Bishop T.D. Jakes and the Potter’s House Mass Choir’s The Storm is Over (2001) and their Grammy-winning A Wing and a Prayer (2003) CDs. Finally, Bishop Jakes’ praise and worship live recording Woman Thou Art Loosed: Run to the Water… The River Within (2002) will also be available once again.

Dexterity Sounds is currently building off of the success of the Potter’s House Mass Choir’s new Top Ten CD Grace: Live in Kenya, the first release under its new Rhino distribution deal. In addition to new artist signings, Dexterity will also soon develop a gospel music reissue CD series that draws on the music vaults of WMG labels such as Word Records, Elektra, Warner Bros. and Atlantic Records.

Bishop Jakes’ Dallas-based Potter’s House Church has a membership of over 30,000 members and a host of community-oriented ministries. He and The Potter’s House Mass Choir have released three other hit CDs, including the Grammy-winning 2003 project, “A Wing and a Prayer.” Based in Burbank, California, Warner Music Group's Rhino Entertainment develops, markets, and promotes both audio and video products from the vast WMG catalog and through new productions with established artists.
