Cleveland-based Bishop J. Delano Ellis, II, D.D. recently celebrated his 15th Pastoral Anniversary and 45th year in ministry. Ellis and his wife, Overseer Sabrina J. Ellis provide leadership for the Pentecostal Church of Christ in Cleveland, Oh.

Bishop Ellis is one of the nation’s most respected Christian leaders. From 1992 to 2004, he served as the Presiding Prelate of United Pentecostal Churches of Christ (UPCC); Ellis also established the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops.

Ellis holds several Doctor of Divinity degrees (Morehouse College (Atlanta, Ga.); Pillar of Fire Seminary (York, England); Saints College (Lexington, Ms.); Purdue University (Lafayette, In.); Mason Bible College (Memphis, Tn.); Birmingham University (Birmingham, England). His understanding and depth of knowledge of church administration and order has distinguished him as the nation’s top consultant in consecration and ordination services. Additionally, Ellis has been a chief contributor to the establishment of the Ecclesiastical Dress Code for bishops and clergy worldwide.

The mid-May weekend of celebration included keynote speakers, Bishop Luther Blackwell (Cleveland, Oh.), Overseer David Thomas, Sr. (Cleveland, Oh.), Bishop David E.
