Nashville, TN - Dr. Bobby Jones’ International Gospel Industry Retreat is now booking recording artists for the showcase tapings during its biannual retreat May 2-4, 2004 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Bobby Jones is looking for nationally recognized gospel artists, appropriate R&B/pop singers, celebrity co-hosts, and new artists for its multiple television tapings.

The International Gospel Industry Retreat was founded by gospel music mogul Dr. Bobby Jones and award-winning gospel star Vickie Winans. In the past, top gospel artists like Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Smokie Norful, Karen Clark-Sheard, Pastor Shirley Caesar, and the Kurt Carr Singers have participated in the tapings. Mainstream recording artists like Angela Winbush, Howard Hewett, Donnie, Ollie Woodson of The Temptations, Betty Wright, Denise Williams, and many others have also performed on the showcase tapings.

This year, prominent gospel recording artists, leading record executives, national media outlets, major industry promoters, award-winning songwriters, and other notable personalities will participate in a series of panel discussions, seminars, television tapings, and an award ceremony during the exclusive three-day retreat.
