Barack Obama: Faith of His Father
Just before the primary election in Ohio, Barack Obama spoke to a community that is notoriously conservative (read between the lines) and made this public confession:
“Here are the simple facts,” Obama said. “I am a Christian. I am a devout Christian. I have been a member of the same church for 20 years. I pray to Jesus every night.”
Do I believe him?
The long answer to that question is too long. But the short answer is simple: He has freedom of religion. Leave him be, please. At the end of the day, I believe that God is the only One welcome to that place in a person’s heart that deals with their salvation. At the end of the day, isn’t He the only One who truly knows?
